The Women’s Outdoor Club is excited to announce the following event:

Summer Hike & Social

When: 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM, June 29^th, 2024.

Where: Oxbow Trail Loop at the Weaselhead Natural Area – our group will meet at the Weaselhead Parking Lot (see parking lot instructions below for access)

Event Details: Join CFGA’s Women’s Outdoor Club for an exciting Summer Hike & Social! This event is a free opportunity for our members to get outside, connect with nature, and enjoy the great outdoors together. Whether you are an experienced hiker or just starting out, this event promises beautiful scenery and great company. We will be hiking the Oxbow Trail Loop, which is 4.7 KM (return) and rated as “easy” on the AllTrails App. After our hike ends, we will sit down and relax in the park and share a few light snacks (veggies, cheese/crackers, etc.), which will be provided for the group. If you feel inclined to bring some light, shareable snacks for the group in addition to the snacks that will be provided (pot-luck style), please do!

What to bring: comfortable shoes, camping/lawn chair to sit on, personal water bottle, sunscreen/hat, personal snacks (if desired). Please remember to dress for the weather.
