Event Details: The CFGA will once again be partnering with the Rosebud Silhouette & Benchrest Club (RSBC) to host a public rifle shoot and sight-in prior to the beginning of hunting season. There are 50 spots available for shooters - CFGA Members, friends (non-members), general public, as well as RSBC Members and friends (non-members) are welcome to attend! There will be both bench rest and silhouette targets available, including:

  • 25 bench rest stations at 100-200-300 yards
  • ten centre-fire silhouette stations at 200-500 meters
  • ten .22 rimfire silhouette stations
  • target and silhouette fun “Turkey Shoot”

Cost: $20 per person. Youth under 18 are free to join. *When registering youth as shooters, please include names of youth and their age when registering.

Safety Orientation & Facilities: Rosebud Range is a stringently safe and controlled environment hosted by Rosebud Range Safety Officers. All shooting positions are covered - there is a clubhouse and "pit" toilets on-site, there are no food vendors or stores nearby, so attendees may want to bring a lunch/snacks, and personal water required for the day.

What to bring: centre-fire rifle, .22 rimfire rifle, appropriate ear and eye protection, ammo, and targets. Please remember to dress for the weather.
