As per Bylaw 4.4 Rights and Privileges of Members:

Members in good standing of the Association shall be entitled to all the rights and privileges of the Association, including the right to be present at all Annual General meetings, Special Meetings, and Members Meetings of the Association, and to stand for election to the Board in the Association.

Regular Members and Life Members are entitled to one (1) vote at a meeting of the Association.
Family Members are entitled to one (1) vote for each registered adult in the family. Youth members do not have a vote.

Dear CFGA Members:

This is official notice of our AGM, to be held at the AHEIA facility on January 19, 2026 (revised date). The meeting will commence at 6:30 pm; please arrive early, for registration. It will be followed by a “Social”, including food and beverages. For your review are the minutes of the AGM 2024 Draft Minutes.pdf and approved audited 2024 financials.

You must RSVP prior to end of day January 15^th, so we can verify eligible voting members in advance of the AGM. It will also help us buy the appropriate amount of food and drinks for the Social. Only guests who are CFGA members and are 18 years and older are eligible to vote.* Please, if you RSVP that you are attending… do attend, to ensure we don't waste food .

Address: 911 Sylvester Crescent SW. Park on the street, or behind their office, or in the church parking lot (north end only).

Prior to the AGM we shall send you further information regarding open Board positions, the Standing Committee positions and the terms of reference for both. Many of our Board positions still have a year left on their two-year terms. Contact Perry Kotkas or Mike Duszynski to self-nominate for open positions. We are looking for a few engaged members to assist the organization be even better this next year!

See you at the AGM! (it is a spectacular setting inside - of fish and wildlife!) Please join us to start 2026 as a banner year for the CFGA!
